7 Signs They Are The One!

A friend asked me the other day how do you know if you have found 'the one'. My first thought was we can never really find this out until we get to know the other person. Interacting with the person tells us a lot about them - alot. Sometimes we run into people and we know we would not want to see them again. Other times we hit off with someone so well that we decide to spend our life with them. Our set of priorities vary from each other and hence our likes and dislikes are different as well. Nevertheless, there exist a couple of universally acknowledged indications that show loud out and clear - THEY ARE THE ONE!

Out of those few I am going to state the following most important seven for you:

1. Its Always Exciting: 

Its just not the initial butterflies in stomach followed by sparks and lights and then subsequent dying kind of thing. Interest and fondness for one another continue to grow and there is not a moment when you feel like not wanting to be with them. You may not necessarily be glued to each other 24/7/365. You both are independent, however, when without them you cannot wait to be lit up again.

2. Through Thick And Thin Companions: 
They are there through your good and bad times both. May it be partying or getting in a fix, no matter what, they are there. You can count on them for almost anything in the world. Everyone leaves you, turn around and see them standing there for you, waiting to accompany you through the jagged journey.

3. Interested In Who You Are Than What You Have:
Interest is skin deep. Fondness for each other is not tied with looks or pockets. You want to be with each other for who you are not because for what you have. Simple compliments or fancy dinners, long conversations or just sitting comfortably in utter silence - all seems perfect with them.

4. Care For One Another:
Words or gestures, thoughts or actions, everything will exude care. Ride may get bumpy but the element of care will never fade away. They will never consider the idea of hurting you in any possible way may it be messing with your head, insulting or insinuating you. Fights when take place, will not go over a day and will only strengthen your bond. If they know you are at your lowest point, they will make every possible effort to light up your world. Period!

5. Its Effortless:
Its like you are two peas in a pod. You love and enjoy doing things together. It all comes naturally. You don't have to make an effort to be with them or talk to them. You will never feel alone even when both of you are doing your own thing. You are inspired by them and feel energetic around them. Close or far away - A dull moment with them? Not a chance!

6. They Love Your Family and Friends:
This one is truly important. They have won your loved ones hearts and you are won by them. Your family and friends love them equally. If they get along with your circle well. Keep them - forever!

7. Unconditional: 
You are not grossed out with the stink of their socks or their messy way of eating food. You kind of like all those quirks and there is not a day when you have not thought about them and found yourself saying - I am lucky to be with 'the one'!
