Reminds you of coulda, woulda, shoulda episode from Sex and the City?
Well, these are some statements given by my friends I have known for the past decade or so. All of them answered with one thing or another and 'one' similarity that I found was they were all laced with regret. Like a bad regret. As if its all OVER. In their minds and hearts they have accepted to dwell on the assumption that things would have been different if they were to do them differently but nothing can be done now and so in reality they would not do anything about them NOW.
Should I recommend them Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle? Okay may be that too but for now I want all of them to read what I think they need the most:
1. Come out of the thought this cannot be done now. If you did not do it earlier, you can do it now. There is no limitation if that is what you want. Like, really really want.
2. Stop overthinking on what could have been the results. Be the master of your own fate. Design your actions and aim for the results you have always wanted. Its not too late. Its never too late.
Amy Craton, a 94 year old graduated late last year with a 4.0 GPA in creative writing and English from Southern New Hamsphire University. That's right, 4.0 GPA. Feeling inspired already?
3. Stop thinking something is too grand to even dream of. You will never be able to produce grand results if you keep thinking and aiming for small.
Talk about the world? Nah, lets go for the universe!
So if you want to go abroad for higher studies or you want to propose someone or you want to fix your friendship or you don't want to shout at your mom or you want to stop taking life too seriously or you want to stop being a control freak or above all you want to love yourself - DO IT NOW!
Its all still in your hands in one way or the other. I am vouching for that guys because you are breathing you are alive and you are not older than a 94 year old Amy Craton!
Life is not supposed to be lived in dribs and drabs. Make the plenty of it and live to the fullest!
